Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Data Engineer, and we are actively seeking
candidates who can join immediately. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and
maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure for our clients in the US. The role includes data modeling, ETL
processes, data warehousing, and data analytics tasks. The Data Engineer will work closely with our Data
engineering team to produce seamless solutions for our client.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and oversee data migration projects to cloud
platforms such as Azure and AWS.
Ensure data integrity, security, and optimal performance during migration.
Create and maintain data pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and other relevant
technologies
Design and implement data models and schemas that support reporting, analytics, and business requirements.
Utilize Python for data-related tasks, including data manipulation, transformation, and automation of ETL
processes.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines to enhance data processing speed,
reduce bottlenecks, and improve overall system performance.
Implement data security measures and comply with data privacy regulations.
Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs
and provide them with high-quality data assets.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of ETL processes, data models, and data pipelines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and
skill sets:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in data engineering, ETL processes, and data migration.
Proficiency in ETL tools like Azure Data Factory and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). Experience with
other ETL tools may be considered.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS is necessary, with a focus on data migration and
data storage services.
Proficient in SQL and database management systems. Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases is a
plus.
Proficiency in Python for data-related tasks, including data manipulation, scripting, and automation.
Familiarity with US healthcare data is an added advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data-related issues effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and
translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Willingness to adapt to new technologies and tools in the rapidly evolving data engineering landscape.
