We are actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to join

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain robust data architectures to support organizational needs.
Design and implement efficient data pipelines for seamless information flow.
Ensure the quality and integrity of data through vigilant oversight.
Foster collaboration with offshore clients and teams to achieve project goals.
Work closely with the data science and analytics team based in Nepal to leverage synergies.
Oversee data security measures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Drive continuous learning and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies within the team.
Lead and mentor the data engineering team to enhance their skills and productivity.
Contribute to the formulation of strategic direction and vision for data-related initiatives.
Manage comprehensive documentation and record-keeping processes to facilitate transparency and knowledge
sharing.
Technical skills
Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, normalization, and denormalization.
Knowledge of extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Proficiency in languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Python and SQL.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, and their respective big data solutions.
Ability to optimize database performance, queries, and ETL processes.
Knowledge of Data warehousing tools and platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.
Awareness of data encryption, masking, and compliance standards.
Knowledge of BI tools such as PowerBI, Quicksight or Looker Studio
Management skills
Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Balancing business needs, technical constraints, and team capacity to make informed choices.
Engaging with stakeholders across departments, understanding their data needs, and ensuring delivery.
Hiring the right talent, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring continuous skills development.
